Pursuant to Point 1.4.9 in National technical regulation QCVN 01:2021/BXD on construction planning stipulating residential complex:

Refers to a combination of residential structures that share a common space (garden, playground, parking space serving the residential complex and internal road excluding sub-division roads, etc.).

What is Residence-related unit?

Pursuant to Point 1.4.8 in National technical regulation QCVN 01:2021/BXD on construction planning stipulating residence-related unit? 

Refer to fundamental functional urban areas primarily serving residential demands, including: houses; service – public structures; public trees serving daily needs of the general public; traffic roads (from sub-division level to tertiary level) and parking lots for residence-related units.

What is freestanding house?

Pursuant to Point 1.4.11 in National technical regulation QCVN 01:2021/BXD on construction planning stipulating freestanding house:

Refers to a house build on a separate land patch under legal use right of organization, household or individual, including villas, semi-detached houses or terraced houses or detached houses.

What is apartment building?

Pursuant to Point 1.4.12 in National technical regulation QCVN 01:2021/BXD on construction planning stipulating apartment building:

Refers to a building with at least 2 storeys, multiple flats, shared passages and staircases, private property, shared property and infrastructure systems shared by all households, individuals and organizations.
